Compassion

A friend recently went on a quick trip to Ancorage and brought me back some frames to alter. Because we live in such a remote area we can't just run down to the local craft store to get supplies. This card is to thank her for being so thoughtful.
My husband is gone today. Our church is endevring to reach out into the smaller surrounding villages. The only way to get to them is to fly, and most have no churches. If they do have a church building they don't have a permanent pastor to lead them. Can you imagine living in a place where you couldn't go to church even if you wanted to ? The darkness that we go through here every winter because of the absence of the sun is nothing compared to spiritual darkness with the absence of the Son. Please pray for my husband as he endevors to fly into Atqasuk to minister to those people, and "Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."

What a lovely thing your friend did for you! Hope you post the frames when you get them altered.

Praying for the workers and the harvest!

Stunning card Laurie. I can't wait to see who God calls to the ministries up here.
