Le Jardin

I was reminded as I stamped this card that the marriage ceremony that we have here on earth with our spouse directly correlates with the marriage supper of The Lamb which will take place in heaven someday. Christ is the bridegroom, and his church (those that have a personal relationship with him ) is the bride. Matthew 25:13 says "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh" None of us are promised tommorrow, so today I would like each of you to search you hearts and ask yourselves if you are ready. Romans 10:9 says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath Raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Weekend sketch challenge #12

I stamped the home made scrapbook paper this morning using the pop rocks paisley set from T.A.C. Then I saw the weekend sketch challenge and decided to use it for that.

Nancy made me do it !!!

I walked over to Nancy's house last night to show her my T.K stamps. We practiced inking and stamping with different mediums. Palet or staz-on worked better than water based black ink. I started gamsoling it , and to be quite honest, I didn't like it. I kept wanting to scrap the whole thing, but Nancy wouldn't let me. So I just kept adding more and more color till I got results that I could live with. Hope you like it, it was a lot of work !!!

Scarlet's journal

This is a prayer Journal that I covered with Scarlet's Letter paper. I posted it on Split Coast, but I wasn't happy with the quality of the picture. It's good to write down prayer requests that you have because then we can look back on those trials and see how God brought us through them.

Mom mom's Christmas card

I got a few of the Thomas K. stamps , and I have to admit that I am a little intimidated by the thought of coloring them. So I made this card for my grandma who likes T.K. and I decided to emboss is. I'm very pleased and surprised at how detailed the embossing turned out.

Happy Birthday Partner

Here is Jeremiah's b-day card !!

"I want to be a cowboy when I grow up "

My adorable middle child Jeremiah loves nothing more than playing cowboys. His 5th birthday is on aug.19 , so I am working on a cowboy birthday card for him.

Blessed with Boys

Okay, I would have just added this picture to my last post, only I couldn't figure out how.

My Family

I would like to share a little more about myself with you. I have a wonderful and godly husband named Darryl, whome I can always trust to make the right choices for our family. I also have three energetic boys, Micah (6), Jeremiah (4), and Joshua (2).
I am a stay at home homeschooling mom.
Today I have been blessed and humbled by your heartwarming response to my blog. There is a verse that I share with my boys often (you know how young boys can be ). Proverbs 18:24 says " A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly.." Today you all have put that verse into practice, thank-you.

It's a Wonderful Life !!!

Thank-you for browsing my first blog post. I've been sitting here for quite some time thinking of what I want to say. I am very computer illiterate, but my bestest friend Nancy Grant from Inkcicles has been holding my hand each step of the way. To tell you about myself, my husband and I are missionaries to arctic Alaska. We live in the Inupiat Eskimo village of Barrow, which is the northern most settlement in the U.S. I got into stamping / card making because I wanted a crafty way to reach out and be a blessing to people. My desire for this blog is that it will inspire you to use the talents that God has given you to be a blessing and encouragement to others. I want to be careful not to let this blog become just a tooting of my own horn, but to bring honor to God with everything that is said.
This first card is typical of me because I stamp a lot of these eskimo girls. The paper is Grandpa's Attic from SEI.
