My First Blog Candy !!!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Fairbanks with family ! I went a little crazy at the craft stores, and now it's time for you to share in the wealth !! This is my way of saying thank-you to my wonderful friends who have encouraged me by checking out my blog . I want you to know how thankful I am for you . Now for the goods, I went a lottle nuts on rolls of ribbon, so the winner will get a yard of each pictured, some are Martha Stewart ! Large grommets, jumbo brads, alterable clips, an alterable wooden picture frame, a handfull of Foof-a-la buttons, Bazzill bling flowers, prima Forever Flowers ( four different colors) One sheet each of the Arctic Frog by the sea paper pad and one sheet each of the Seven Gypsies Capri journey !

O.K. all you have to do is leave a comment and tell me what you like about my site, maybe a favorite style or card. Or what you dislike about my site! Or something that you would like to see me do on my site. I would really appreciate it if new comers would take the time to brows my blog and actually see my work before leaving a comment. I do this out of courtesy to blogs I leave comments for candy on! Have a wonderful week and good-luck to all of you !!

Thanks so much for sharing your creative work! My favorite thing that I've seen on your site has been the scrapbook page about Micah's baptism! It really warmed my heart & made me look forward to the day that my own children will do the same!

Your creativity is really amazing and I love your style work. The Baptism page is beautiful. I love that you incorporated the criss-cross card into the scrapbook pages and of course I rejoiced in Micah's special day:) I also really enjoyed the ice skating dog card and smiled at the fact that his sweater matched your background. Your blog is so much fun!

Very pretty cards here, and a lot of inspiration. I just love the mini criss cross card for both journaling on a scrapbook page or as an accent to a card. I think my favorite so far (haven't had a chance to go back through your archives, but I plan to!) is your scrapbook layout using the mini criss cross card. I appreciate you sharing both cardmaking and scrapbooking. Wonderful color combos and sketches here on your posts. Thanks for the chance to win a prize; I'm glad I found your site through Allison so I can check out your creativity.

What i like about your site??? EVERYTHING!! I love seeing the cards and layouts that you make and I especially like the cards that you posted for your monthly class. The only thing that I would like to see is directions or names for the techniques that you have posted. Since I am no longer in Barrow and can't go to the classes I have to do them on my own!!

I hope that you had a great trip!!

That is the way I have found so many great sites. And I have to say, yours is one of them. I am putting you into my favorites. Your cards are great and I can't pick a favorite! I loved your scrapbook page of your sons baptism. Priceless!!!

Hi Laurie and welcome back home!
This is my first post to your blog although I've been checking it out fairly often. You're such an inspiration to me! I don't see how you have the time to do all you do! I don't think I could pick one favorite, they are all great! My only wish is that I could attend some of your technique classes. Maybe you could give some tips when you post some of the cards.

I'm not sure if my first post went through so I'm trying it again!

Hi laurie,
I love your blog. Your cards are beautiful...I really like it when you identify the elements you use, because I am a product girl and I like to know what's out there!

I think my favorite card to date is the butterfly card you did for Julee's Mojo Monday. So many diverse elements that came together beautifully!

I enjoy all the beautiful cards you make and all the sketch challenges!! Keep up the good work!!

I like the composition of your cards...it's just enough to look "finished" and not overdone by using too many patterns and embellishments.
I am trying to pay close attention to using more details without looking too "busy". I view your blog to help get to that level.

Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
