A Mommy's Happiest Day !!

Thie was one of the three most happiest days of my life as a parent, three because I have two more boys to go ! Micah asked God to come into his heart and be his saviour a few months ago, and then followed the Lord in believers baptism last week. The Bible says that we should have no greater joy than to see that our children walk in truth. I pray, pray, pray, pray everyday that they will just follow God and do right when they grow up. This was also a very special day for my husband, since he's the pastor he got to baptize Micah.
The God's promises theme came from the SALT blog, this is their theme challenge for the week. Check them out !

THE MINI CRISS CROSS CARD :
Some of you aked for the dimensions for this card . Please follow these dimensions, then check out Beate's tutorial at splitcoaststampers.com/resources/crisscrosscard.php
Base Piece 2.5 by 10.5 score at 3.5 from each end
Cut one piece of D.P. 3 1/4 by 2 1/4 them cut diagonally from corner to corner, This makes your two triangular panels, if you want two different D.P. then cut two.
The insert is one piece 2 1/4 by 3 1/4 and one piece 2 1/8 by 3 1/8

I hope this makes sense !

What a beautiful layout and I love the verses you have used. I too understand how you felt, as my daughter was baptised in the last month, and my husband also had the honor of baptising her as well. It is a very special moment isn't it.

Wow, I really love everything about this layout. Especially the fact that you are so joyful about your child turning to Christ and accepting Him into his heart. What a blessing :)

It is such a blessing when one's children decide to share your faith - what a marvellous example you must be.

I love this! I wish I had taken pictures of my children's baptism but for some reason, I was so wrapped up in the moment, it didn't occur to me! Oh well, as long as their names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life, that's all that's important. :D I can always make a layout in honor of their decision for salvation and day of baptism.

Beautiful layout for a precious occasion. I love the entire LO, especially using the criss cross card for the journaling. Thanks for sharing the dimensions of this; I would like to incorporate it into a LO or two.

Fabulous layout for such a joyful occasion. My dad intended on baptising me, but unfortunately was in hospital with a bad back, however he baptised my sister about 6 months before me and my other sister 6 months after me, nearly fulfilling his secret ambition of baptising us within a year. He was however just happy to know all of his daughters were children of God.
