Little Keepsake Box

I picked up this little jewl box a while ago and just couldn't decide which paper to cover it with. I had been having trouble with the Periphery paper , until I got the ribbons to match. Now i've used the paper on two projects and liked them ! Oh, and the Love sentiment was one of the things that came in my prize from Jen ! Thanks so much Jen, i'll post the rest of my goodies later !

Mojo Monday Challenge

This one is for Peotic Artistry's mojo monday challenge. The paper is new My Minds Eye that honey picked up for me on his trip ! Thi ribbon and brown sparkles are from Martha Stewart, I stamped the swirl from Cat's Pajama's in a glue pad to do the swily sparkles.

My Wonderful Husband !

I always knew that I had married a wonderful man, but I didn't know just how much he appreciated me until he came home from Chicago with a stamping stash for me !!!Yea, that's what I said, mine and Nancy's husband voluntarill, without cooertion, searched out a scrapbooking store and went to town. When he got in the van at the airport he askes me with this silly grin on if I knew what a zupper was. Of course I didn't, then he looked a little worried, like maybe he'd bought something I wouldn't want. When we got home it was a Zutter Bind-it-All !! This desktop 2008 calendar is my first project. It's made with Basic Grey Periphery paper.Thank-you God for blessing me with a wonderful man, even if he didn't buy me anything !

This is something I made while my internet was down ! It uses S-U's pretties kit, the flower center is a pearl on top of a brad from S-U's new build a brad kit.

Faux Cake

Flourishes and Paper Trey have come out with such cute cake sets lately. unfortunatly I don't have any yet. So I decided to improvise. I hope you enjoy my wedding cake, all the paper is Dutch Girl by Cosmo Cricket.

Mojo Challenge Week #7

I found the awesome tutorial for these snowflakes at Splitcoast yesterday and was just dying to try it. I decided to incorporate it into Poetic Artistry's Mojo challenge. The Snow is made using both sizes of the S-U tag punch, all paper used is also S-U.

I am having so much fun using the Nestabilities to make the frames for these shaker cards.

Snow Fun

I have been wanting to do a shaker card for a while, but the patience required usually deters me. I've made them all sorts of ways, but they are always a pain. This one was easier though because I nested a plain and a scalloped nestabilities tegether on a sheet of magnetic paper, then ran it through the machine to make an easy frame. The paper and stamp are from T.A.C.

Wedding Elegance

This is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge. The stamps and paper and pearls are all from Stampin-up. I gotta run, my husband and Nancy's are going to Chicago tommorrow together for a Reformers Unanimous International conference. R.U. is a faith based addictions program that our church has started. Eskimo Girl

This is one of my signature eskimo girls. I sell these cards in a gift shop here to the tourists that come to see the "top of the world" Tourist season is over now, the snow and cold is back, I figured I would make a few every once in a while to get ready for next summer. God has brought my family to a truely amazing place !

God's Blessings are Wonderful Friends

My sweet friend Nancy came over last night and let me play with her Flourishes reindeer. She is on the team for this new company and she just posted two awesome new cards for them at her site Inkcicles ! The background paper for this card is TAC called Kamalaht. I'm so glad that God blessed me with a wonderful friend like Nancy !

I can't believe that it's almost time for my tecnique class again, I do one once a month. This month we will be doing the reflection tecnique and the double pocket cards that Beate wrote tutorials for, THANK'S BEATE !!! And also this filmstrip card.

Pieces of me color challenge

When I saw this color challenge at Jen's site I knew exactly what paper I would use. I had happily used all the other papers from the Cutie Pie paper from S-U earlier, but had had trouble using the Bashful Blue and Celery colors in the set. Anyway the three colors for the challenge were celery blue and close to cocoa.

Loving You

As you can see i'm in love with the criss cross cards, thanks Beate for the tutorial !!! This paper has a georgous pearly finnish, it's the luxury stack from DCWV.

Me ? A College Professor ?

Well not really ! But I have been asked to teach a christmas card and box making class at Ilisagaviq college ( our community college here in Barrow) I was asked to submit a picture of my work to put on the flyer for advertising, so I put together the little picture here. Caardvarks micro scallop challenge

I have had these adorable bugz from S-U for some time and have never inked them, shame on me ! I highlighted spots with crystal effects and glitter. The scallops and squares are Spellbinders- I Love Them !! Some tools and stamps come and go as sort of fads, but I know I will use these for a long time to come, thay were a worthy investment.

Phone Number Book

My refrigerator was a HUGE mess with a million little scraps of paper with phone numbers on them. I couldn;t find one if I did need it ! So I decided to make a little phone book, but I wanted it to be able to hang on the frig. I had some little metal clip magnets that were just strong enough to hold the mini book that I had purchased from TAC a while ago. The papert are from Basic Grey, I chose them because it matched to colors in my kitchen.
