Go Try A Belli Challenge !!

This weeks Belli challenge is to use something half finnished from the forgotten pile. You know we all have them, projects and half colored stamped images that you say your going to go back and finnish, but they just lay around. Well go finnish one and enter it in this weeks challenge at Creating with Chrissy . For my project, this foil from Close to my Heart was one of the first things I rolled through my Big Shot when I got my embossing folders. Sadly though I never did anything with it. I also bought Tim Holtz alcohol inks from Sweet N' Sassy some time back and never used those either. Nancy reminded me that they worked well on foil, and there you have my card ! They were much less of a mess than I anticapated and dried almost instantly !

A Birthday Gift for a Sweet Girl

I got these cute little lotions and lip balms from Nancy and Avon when they were on sale. Then I use them for gifts when the little girls in our church have birthdays !

A Verve Visual Inspiration Challenge

These pillows were such an awesome inspiration ! I went to my stamp room and started pulling out things that looked like the pillows, this is how one card turned into two cards ! Thanks girls for giving me an opportunity to use some hoarded embelishments !!

I haven't had the energy to stamp , but when I got the latest stamp from Sweet N' Sassy Stamps and some new Basic Grey papers in the mail yesterday I knew I had to play ! Beate's sketch challenge this week was perfect for the image and papers.

Belli Challenge-Chalkboard technique

If you are up for a challenge, wanna try a new technique or just wanna win a prize then you should participate in
Chrissy's Belli challenge. Since the tecnique is called chalk board I decided to really make a chalk board-how original ?! The second uses my neglected Paper Tray stamps that I just had to have on Blue Bayou paper with shimmer chalks.

Lit'l dress

We made baby onesie cards last night at my technique class, Nancy got this idea to cut the sleeves with the scallop scissors, and that's where the idea for this card began ! I used the basic pattern for the onesie card, and then tweeked it from there. The paper is old from Basic Grey, some of the first dp I ever bought ! I hope you enjoy this, I'm sorry that i've been so quiet lately, some things have been happening that I can't talk about, but please keep my family in your prayers.

Belli Challenge-Make it Sparkle !!

This weeks Belli challenge is to make anything with lottsa sparkle. Unfortunatly I couldn't get a good picture of all my sparkle, but all the snow and the penguins are covered with dazzling diamonds, while the sky was done with shimmer chalks and to add extra sparkle I sprayed a mixture of hair spray and pearl-ex over it . Allison's Suggestive Challenge,shapes

I had been wanting to use my stamp-a-ma-jig and form some intricate design like Nicole does with her Paper Tray stamps. So this was my inspiration when I saw Allison's challenge for this week. The stamp I used is old retired S-U, it's a small corner finalle' . I got so into the design of the whole thing that I didn't want or have room for a sentiment.
