Belli Challenge-Chalkboard technique

If you are up for a challenge, wanna try a new technique or just wanna win a prize then you should participate in
Chrissy's Belli challenge. Since the tecnique is called chalk board I decided to really make a chalk board-how original ?! The second uses my neglected Paper Tray stamps that I just had to have on Blue Bayou paper with shimmer chalks.

Lit'l dress

We made baby onesie cards last night at my technique class, Nancy got this idea to cut the sleeves with the scallop scissors, and that's where the idea for this card began ! I used the basic pattern for the onesie card, and then tweeked it from there. The paper is old from Basic Grey, some of the first dp I ever bought ! I hope you enjoy this, I'm sorry that i've been so quiet lately, some things have been happening that I can't talk about, but please keep my family in your prayers.

Belli Challenge-Make it Sparkle !!

This weeks Belli challenge is to make anything with lottsa sparkle. Unfortunatly I couldn't get a good picture of all my sparkle, but all the snow and the penguins are covered with dazzling diamonds, while the sky was done with shimmer chalks and to add extra sparkle I sprayed a mixture of hair spray and pearl-ex over it . Allison's Suggestive Challenge,shapes

I had been wanting to use my stamp-a-ma-jig and form some intricate design like Nicole does with her Paper Tray stamps. So this was my inspiration when I saw Allison's challenge for this week. The stamp I used is old retired S-U, it's a small corner finalle' . I got so into the design of the whole thing that I didn't want or have room for a sentiment.

Try Out This Weeks Belli Challenge- Hardware

I am having so much fun demoing Chrissy's Belli Challenge . This week you should try making a card with any kind of hardware on it, remember to upload a link in her comments and you will be entered to win some candy ! As soon as I heard the words hardware this week I knew what I had to use. A friend who works for a builders supply store brought this huge box of these little hinges to church and told us they were going to be thrown out and did we want some. Of course Nancy and I jumped all over them, but haven't used a one so far ! So my challenge to myself was to use them for this challenge. Julee's Mojo Challenge

I needed an anniversary card and I thought Julee's sketch would work perfectly. There is so much white on the card the picture isn't great. I stamped the images in Versamark, then colored them with shimmer chalks, stamped over them again with Versamark and embossed with Glassy Glaze Enamel.

The Sun is Back and it's NOT 30 Below !!!

I don't usually show many pictures of our life here in Barrow, but the scene yesterday was hilarious! We got the boys a dog sled last year for Christmas and they have been bugging Darryl to take them out. We thought out of the two village dogs we have that the big male,part wolf manly dog would pull forever. Nothin doin , he tucked his tail between his legs and laid in the snow when the harness was put on him. Our sweet little girl dog pulled her heart out ! At one point my husband fell in the snow and pretended he was hurt, thinking that Cuckoluck would miraculously pull him home (like in the movie 8 Below !) Ha,Ha, She stood there looking at him like "yea, right" until he got off the sled. Then she pulled the kids home .

I needed a card for a wonderful sister in Christ who is having a tough time right now. I decided to use the layout for the Techno Stamper challenge. The paper ,ribbon and flower stamp are S-U the verse stamp is new from Sweet N Sassy.

Chrissy's Belli Challenge-Punch Animals !

This week Chrissy's Belli Challenge is to create a card using punches to make fun animals or bugs ! My first card came together quickly with the help of the Pond Pals set from Sweet N' Sassy Stamps . The second card was more of a challenge,I had it mostly done but I wanted to add more. I was blog surfing and I came across on Awesome site called Stamping with Markie's Mom . Her creations are fabulous so much detail ! One thing she does a lot is dots, so this is where I got the idea to finnish off my card with some dots. I had so much fun creating these little animals, now it's your turn to see what you can come up with ! Be sure to link your card to Chrissy's site to be entered in a chance to win some goodies !
