I make these Eskimo girls to sell at the shops here to tourists and it's time to make another batch ! I'll be soo sick of her by the time it's over. I really should mass produce one favorite layout, but that would be too easy. Something in me just won't duplicate a card, some may be similar , but never the same.

With Love

O.K. I needed a new holiday for inspiration. I've had this Bella for months and never used her ! I wanted her to say be mine, but I couldn't find a stamp that said it so I settled for with love. This doesn't really mean that I don't have a stamp like that, just that I can't find it !

Caardvarks challenge : Rick Rack

Caardvarks is running a challenge this month to use rick rack. I went to my stamping room and found that most of my rick rack was in pastel colors, and I needed a baby shower card . So this was the outcome ! The stamp is close to my heart, I wanted the rick rack to show a little more , but the image was just too big !The paper is from a Stampin-up scrapbook kit, so cute.

SALT Challenge, Jesus , plus or minus nothing !

It seems so simple, but all of mans questions to all of mans problems can be answered with one awesome word, JESUS ! This card is for the SALT blog challenge. If you have this stamp set you know that it doesn't say Jesus, it says joy. I printed the esus on my cardstock with the computer, then inked my stamp except the oy in joy and used the stamp-a-magig to position it perfectly. The J is covered with crystal effects and microbeads.
My second reason for making this card is to show off this Cosmo Cricket Wonderland paper. Korin's store Sweet n' Sassy stamps is carrying it along with a growing selection of other great stuff !
Thanks for checking out my blog today, I hope you were inspired, God bless.

I've been Tagged !!

Korin Sutherland, over at Inkydoodle tagged me. While i've never participated in a tagging before , I knew I had to do this one. Korin is the sweetest person and she just opened her own awesome stamp store ! It's called Sweet n' Sassy Stamps, please check it out , she's got some great Cosmo Cricket papers out, and adding more goodies every day !!

A Name Frame for a Little Samoan girl

I was asked to make a name frame for a little girl turning one. They wanted it to look islandy so this it what I came up with. It came together so easily because of this old retired S-U paper that I found hiding in my stamp dungeon. It even had stickers to match so this really was an easy one. Hope she likes it !

Some more details ...

Mojo Week #15

Well after a long break from stamping I really wanted to make something special for the mojo challenge. This took me the better part of the day,off and on , amidst homeschooling and babysitting kids. I hope you enjoy it , I had fun making it ! My husband bought me these memory box stamps the last time he was in Anchorage , he was thrilled when he saw this card because I actually used them ! I bought some of those clops that the ribbons are tied on from TAC a long time ago cuz they looked so cool in the catalog, but never used them. I knew when i saw Juliee's sketch that it would be perfect for it ! Thanks Juliee for helping me get my mojo going again !

A little Christmas cheer !

Sorry i've been so quiet lately. I put stamping on the back burner for a little while during the Christmas rush. In doing so I started focusing a lot more on homeschool, and God has given me such a renewed passion for teaching my three little energetic boys ! Everything has become easier and homeschool is now fun instead of a chore. I must say that this came by much prayer and organizing of my priorities ! So now I feel I can resume stamping with a happy rejuvenated priorities in line home !
That being said these stars are from a kit that I purchased from Basic Grey. You get enough pre cut and scored pieces to make three stars for around five dollars. They were quite intricate to assemble, but once you did the first one the others come together quickly.
